 My dad's 60th birthday celebration, preparation and guests made me super busy, so i paired participants only now.

* Express yourself, do it in any technics, make it beautiful and useful :)

* And the last important rule: Don't stress yourself much, Have fun choosing and making beautiful pieces   for your swap partner :)
This is not a competition, this is pure inspiration.

Handmade crafty scrappy swap

I organized buttons swap a year ago, And it was fun and inspirational.
I think it is time to make another one :)

This time it will be not just a buttons swap but handmade scrappy crafty swap :)
We will swap :
- the buttons,
- fabric scraps
- and handmade pincushion ( made by you) yes yes, let's make each other happy with the handmade goodies :)

Avocado green

Look what my dear sister Tatyana made for me for my  birthday in october  - wonderful green avocado hat!
I love greens in all the shades and types, and as a vegan i LOVE avocado) so this hat is just perfect for me)

Fidji white kiwi bird

Welcome my  third Kiwi white bird. I playing with the nose and legs, feet sizing. The legs are little biger then previous kiwi's legs. First  kiwi's  noses was plastic, made from wonderful vintage buttons ( i had only 2) and this time i carved wooden nose, it is little longer too.
And kiwi's  name is Fidji  . I think it is a boy) You can find him in my  shop here

Yellow

Beside toys i make many other things, like that.
Bright and cozy, Yellow cotton  crocheted infinity scarf  best choice for this  not so hot summer.
Look at wonderful sunflower on the photo! My husband always know how to make me happy.
And he is always choosing right things)  It is not roses and chocolate, but sunflower and tomatoes lol )

My simple tools

Today i will show you my sewing  tools list. This is not full actual tools list, but things i usially have around and i really like) Plus i just love this photo and wanted to share it with you)

 List:

1. One of my  owls sitting with me, while im working. ( Here you can see my beloved Alan owl, who is already living with his  new Mom )

2. Organizer and small notebook. I have them alot. Trying to orginize myself but unfortunately not yet).

3. Apple and orange. Im vegetarian and like to bite something juicy while working.

4. Needle cushion.

5. Ribbon,lace, tape palette.

6.Vintage bobbin of high strenght thread.

7. Mashine needles case. I sew with my grandgrandmas Zinger machine. She giving me lots of vintage mood and inspiration.

8. Pin cushion .

9. Pigeon magnet from my dreamland ''countrywhereiwannalive'' Spain.

10. Crocheted doily for decorating owl chests.

11. Origami stars. I use them everywhere, for example in photo shoots of my toys.

12. Big  scissors for fabric . Without them im like without hands.

13. little scissors from Toledo Spain. They are just perfect - small , sharp and from my beloved Spain )

14. Punch rippers . 

15. Tailor measure tape.

16. Box for machine spools.

17. Plastic  ore metal rings for lingerie ( i use them for making owls eyes).

18.  Face lacy pattern for a little owls. 

19. Bamboo stick helps to fill  soft toys.

20. Vintage spools with my favourite green tones threads.

21. Vintage buttons for toys eyes or hands and legs fixing.

My new little green friend

Not long time  ago I won a giveaway contest in a  Gretel Creations lovely blog. And this week I received a wonderful soft  book worm in the mail.  Thank you so so much, Tami)
He is a little handsome awwww cute guy) He have tiny glasses and even have  book ( i guess for lunch)
Yesterday me and my husband and some of my owl creations had Plush Picnic in the park  So we took little bookworm with us. Hope he enjoy it)
We snap photos,  had lots of fun, sun, fresh air (and  biting bugs)   

Stamp it

For the long time i just dream about handcarved rubber stamps, look at Etsy stamps stores and drooling over them))
So finally i  decided to order some stamps and start using them  for work, packaging, paper projects.
Look what i've got.


Custom Website Url,  Big quote talk bubble and  Olive branch -  hand carved rubber stamps  by  creatiate, Etsy shop, based in  Arizona, United States. 


Twig Letter Thank You   and  Black Spotted feather- hand carved stamps by extase    wonderful Etsy shop, based in Toronto Ontario, Canada. 

 

All this stamps are a very good quality product and i'm absolutely happy with them. I bought only black ink and pad for now, but gonna buy different colors ink in the future.


And my last and most expected stamp order.
Is a custom order from  ttyr , etsy shop based in  Stockholm,  Sweden .
My Frederick owl stamp with the shop url name has not arrived yet, but i can show the picture of the finished product, sended by Ttyr.


Cant wait to try it)

Textile wonders by Olivia Moore

Olivia Moore is an artist and very talented person from Dallas, Texas  and an owner of Etsy shop PoofyDove. 
I found her works a while ago and just must share it with you!

Olivia is a versatile artist, and uses her skills to the fullest. In her shop you can find different kinds of artworks: etchings, wood block prints,paintings,ceramics,embroidery hoop art.

But most of all I am in love with her ​​stuffed owls.  I like how Olivia mixes embroidery, applique and painting on fabric.

 Other amazing Olivia's woodland creation - hand sewn Fox pillow, soft sculpture and home decoration.

And i can't forget about embroidery hoop art. Doves and other beings, made with love and passion

My messy working space

I always dreaming about organaized working space, and clean it often ( you will never say it from the pic ), but in reality it look like a mess . )))) 
Maby it's only way i can work productively?  
When i start to put  everything on places and sort on boxes and  containers, 
 i can't find anything.

Rabbit of my heart. Begining

Today I sent the Rabbit  for a new owner in Texas. It is sad but im happy for him) Hope he will get great home ) 

I put a soft carrot in his  package, and now he has something to chew on the journey .

The most interesting thing about him -  he is my very first soft creation. It's all began from him. Of course i ve made stuffed toys  and dolls  before, time to time ,for presents , for friends.  But when the  rabbit  was born in 2009,  i realized that i want to create more and more, and really love to make my little friends , but later after some time,  my feeling died down, and i was focused in other things in life. 

At the end of  November 2011 my imaginary creatures began jump out of my head and i create my first owl.
