Fly away from the nest

This week my Most Favorite Wassupbrothers family members began to travel to their new homes in US.
Turquoise owl, Brian owl, Olivier prince owl, Nordic owl
It is always not easy  when they fly away, especially if they lived with you for some time.
If I had just made them  it is easier to let them  go .
Have a nice flight, cuties! Take good care of yourself!

My little owly little ones slide down from all the shelves around.

The Boat for the Owl and The Pussycat

Finally i have made all the heroes of the story.
Kitty was made first, boat was the next. At the start it was simply blue boat, i tryed to make it looks like a paper boat.  Later i added some  lace there.

The Owl was the last and i love this little guy.Сorduroy  is my weakness and I try to add it everywhere where only it is possible)

My new creation-  Stefano little owl. He looks like a little serious Lord 

I really love the soft tone of the pearly bead, it go well with the teadyed vintage lace and gray cotton.

Fall

The Fall is already here. The weather is warm and friendly.The leaves are rustle and whispering underfeet ,and you can feel this special autumn smell in the air. I love this time and  i can play with the leaves forever while my husband trying to make his best photoshot)

In this autumn inspirative days i ve made Old  Grandpa Wallace  owl.

Jean Paul White Owl

Welcome my new Owly creation.
Jean Paul Owl made of creamy white faux fur and  lovely vintage ducky cotton fabric from my childhood. I guess it was pillowcase.
His height is 40cm (16'' ) from head to toes and 26cm ( 10,2 '') when he sits.

I found her works a while ago and just must share it with you!

Olivia is a versatile artist, and uses her skills to the fullest. In her shop you can find different kinds of artworks: etchings, wood block prints,paintings,ceramics,embroidery hoop art.

But most of all I am in love with her ​​stuffed owls.  I like how Olivia mixes embroidery, applique and painting on fabric.

Rabbit of my heart. Begining

Today I sent the Rabbit  for a new owner in Texas. It is sad but im happy for him) Hope he will get great home ) 

I put a soft carrot in his  package, and now he has something to chew on the journey .

The most interesting thing about him -  he is my very first soft creation. It's all began from him. Of course i ve made stuffed toys  and dolls  before, time to time ,for presents , for friends.  But when the  rabbit  was born in 2009,  i realized that i want to create more and more, and really love to make my little friends , but later after some time,  my feeling died down, and i was focused in other things in life. 

At the end of  November 2011 my imaginary creatures began jump out of my head and i create my first owl.
