Sunny Necklace

My dear sister had birthday this month, and i made this sunny necklace for her. 
Its made of different vintage and new beads, part of mom's amber brooch and grandma's old flower button)

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year my dear friends!
Thank you so much for all your support in 2012.
It means alot to me! This year wasnt easy but it was amazing adventure! So productive and creative year , i cant even dream about it year ago)

Few days ago  I was on meeting with a store owner about the selling of my toys in their store. Everything was really nice. He even bought one of my owls! And when i came back home, what i see? My dear customers bought a bunch of my little creatures in my Etsy shop) And one of my Bennie hedgehogs was just purchased too! 

Yay! I wished to have 100 sales till New Year last  year and i  have 129 sales.
Well.  I wanted to survive in 2012 Apocalypse and we are all alive)
I almost have 2000 likers on Facebook and almost 300 readers on my blog for the 2012 year! 
I still cant beleive it )
Now i just wish PayPal will start work fully in Russia and we will not have problems with withdraw money from the system, which we all have in Russia now. That is one of my big wishes for 2013 Year!

Old snowy days

Speaking of winter and snow , today I was sorting out the old albums and found this picture. On this photo- me and my first dog and my bestest friend - Dandy. I think I here about 11 years old )) Look at my funny hat)

Look what my dear sister Tatyana made for me for my  birthday in october  - wonderful green avocado hat!
I love greens in all the shades and types, and as a vegan i LOVE avocado) so this hat is just perfect for me)

This feature is really wonderful and unexpected present   almost for my birthday at 31 october) 
A year ago I could not even imagine that  i  end up on the main page of Etsy and stuck there for a few days  in the same  list with the remarkable sellers, crafters  and shops!
1 year ago i didnt even create my first owl and list it  on Etsy,  It was later  in the last days of november.

My dear friends, thank you  so much for all your support  and for the sweet comments on my interview! It means alot to me.

My little owly little ones slide down from all the shelves around.

It's time to buy a new pair of shelves and make little helmets for the owls, so they don't hurt themselves )

Internet vs Singer machine

I Love days without internet , but it is not easy to take myself out of it) 
When i have blackout or maintenance issue, im happy, because nothing cant take me away from sewing or something else i need to do ,and i am not jumping every second to computer)

Yesterday we had something like that in our block in the evening and night. We stayed without electricity for 5 hours, and i was so happy)
It was dark, i took all the candles i can find in the house and start working with my creations) He he)

It was very inspirational.

Good thing - my Old Singer sewing machine dont need electricity and i can work anytime)
This machine was made in 1915 and after 3 years i will celebrate her 100 years birthday!
My Grandmother and her Mother was sewing in this Singer sewing machine and now she is my working horse.

Owly Mug

I do not collect mugs, but i have quite a few and almost no space left on the shelves for the new cups. 
I have  my total favorites and it is always a problem to choose which one to use at the moment. 
That is why usually on my desktop 2 - 3 cups at once)

Now i'm in trouble, because my beloved Dear Dear husband gave me the new Owly mug. 
How can i choose now?
Not long time ago, on the day when we finally came out  together to celebrate our first anniversary of the wedding, we went to my favorite coffee shop and with the order  i saw the lovely gift bag.
My Dear Dear  saw the Mug, when we have just entered, but did not tell me, and made me a surprise) 
How sweet it is! 

My other one favorite is also a gift from him.  Turquoise mug with  the pair of lovely 
owls.

Our First Anniversary

Today is not just cold and unfriendly weather day.
Today is  our first anniversary with my husband.
This year has flown by very quickly - swiftly. We had a lot of good and a  bad things. Sometimes it seemed that I'm loosing my mind  and everything doesn't happen to me .
But despite all the misunderstandings, I want to say that I love you and you mean a lot to me, my Dear Dear! 
You brought me back to my  real  creative life, you turned all upside down , and I feel   that everything in life is exactly as it should be. 
Have you ever felt that everything that happens to you at the moment  strange, untimely, unusual and hard to understand, but at the same time, it is correct and should be so?
That is our case)
